QUESTIONS

Do I need Pilates experience?

No experience needed at all. Sessions are tailored to complete beginners through to experienced clients. We begin with an initial assessment so we can understand your body, history and goals before designing your programme.

Can I do Pilates during pregnancy?

Yes — and it is one of the best things you can do. Pregnancy Pilates keeps you strong, mobile and comfortable throughout all three trimesters. We specialise in prenatal Pilates and design every session with your safety and your baby's wellbeing at the centre.

When can I start Pilates after giving birth?

We recommend a postnatal check with your GP or midwife first — typically from 6 weeks after a vaginal birth, or 8–12 weeks after a C-section. We will then assess you individually and build a recovery programme at your pace.

Is Reformer Pilates suitable for back pain?

Yes. Reformer Pilates is highly effective for improving core strength, posture and spinal alignment — all of which help reduce and prevent back pain. Every programme is individually designed so we can work safely around your specific situation.

Can I do Pilates after a C-section?

Yes, with appropriate timing and guidance. We specialise in C-section recovery and will work gently to rebuild core strength, address scar tissue and restore function — at exactly the right pace for your body.
